apex-coordinated-launch-cycles-internals-v02

To align our product development with our Clients’ strategies, Apex has adopted a number of product management best practices from the software industry and adapted them to address some of the unique challenges within financial services.

The “coordinated releases” take place over a 16-week cycle, which amounts to about 4-months in between releases. That translates to 3 full release cycles per year. In this document you will find key features and functions that are generally available to clients via the release process.

Highlights from this launch cycle include:

  • Cash API:
    • Released a new API for Stock Rewards Programs
    • Enhanced API for real-time cash balances; more accurate, includes more data points, 24x7, in the cloud, and more robust than the previous API
  • Report Updates:
    • Margin Trade Activity (EXT990) - Added a new feature to only view margin activity for accounts in a CALL
    • Name Base Report (EXT765) - Created a slim down version to show only OPEN accounts
    • Tax Lot Detail (EXT1027) - Improved delivery by 6 hours
